TO WRITE…
I have in-numerous problems while writing besides the obvious lack of concentration.
One of the things that always gives me problems it’s the POV, I just don’t know how to use it, 1st person, 3rd person, a narrator?
I even tried to use a 2nd person POV, and can I change it along the way?

ISRAEL 3
One of the things that I really enjoy to do is eat, I’m not a picky eater, by the contrary, I really like to try everything.
Since I mainly traveled trough Europe, this was my first experience in eating middle eastern food outside a big city restaurant, and it was amazing, the intense flavor, not as spicy as I was expecting, the fresh juices, although I did try one green one that was a bit weird, refreshing but I still don’t know what was it made of.
More than that, I really enjoyed all the food markets that made taste a bit of the everyday life.
That being said I just love to eat, and when I try something new….

RELIGIOUS OR NOT SO RELIGIOUS?
Even if I try to live without preconceptions, we all have them, I imagine that it’s something human, in which we always create this ideas about people and places.
When I told some of my friends ad colleagues that I was going to Israel for a couple of days, I had mostly to reactions:
1st – “Oh my God!!1 Are you crazy? You’re going alone? Isn’t dangerous?”
2nd – “Oh my God!!! Are you crazy? You’ll have to use a burka?”
I still don’t know what kind of face I’ve done to this reactions but was mostly saying something on the line of : “Are you fucking serious??!!”
Even if I didn’t had any of these ideas, since I was sure that I could basically walk around with most of my skin being showed, or use a bikini, and that going there alone was the same as going to any of the other places that I went alone already, I found myself a little amazed with the amount of “sex” that I saw there.
I went there with the idea that even if it is a modern and mostly occidental country, it still is a religious country, and even after being told that the Tel Aviv Pride is one of biggest in the world, I wasn’t expecting to see all the images that could bring your mind to the “gay live” and to sex, something that I wasn’t expecting to see in a supposedly religious country.
I saw it just in Tel Aviv, so I imagine that there are other cities in the country that are less open, or I just have millions of misconceptions about a country that is more than the his history and religion.

ISRAEL 2
My misconceptions of the world lead me to believe that even if Israel was some kind of occidental society on the Middle East some things would not be so normal there, however, and probably because I went there a couple of days after the Tele Aviv pride, I found it really open to gays and with these amazing graffiti all over the sidewalks.

SHE MAY BE YOUNG BUT SHE ONLY LIKES OLD THINGS
It was a Monday just like the last one, you went through the pressing of the snooze too many times to count and even if your alarm clock started waking you up at 4h30 you only left your bed at 5h45, and now you have about ten minutes lo leave your house and five minutes to get to work, that only means that you’re going to get late to work once again.
After a weekend in which you haven’t done anything else but lay around on your sofa with a couple of bottles of some rather cheap wine, no TV no internet and your phone off since Friday night, going back to a boring life seems like what you deserve after an awful breakup.
Leaving your house is the same as always, streets empty, a cold and dark night, and you keep on looking to the sky searching for the stars that you don’t see since you came to live in the big city, the soft rain that is falling doesn’t make you go back for your umbrella, and you just quicken your steps in hope of not getting yourself wet and getting to work just a couple of minutes late.
You keep on looking to your watch and asking it to slow down, isn’t on your planes to have another meeting with your boss in which she calls of diary lateness, especially when you’re feeling like if the world is about to end.
Being the bitch that wasn’t able to be faithful was never something that you though off yourself, more than that you’ve been always someone that was proud of not even looking around.
Last week was definitely the worst week of your life, but it seems that this one is going to be worst, when you’re about to get to the only coffee house on your neighborhood that is open at this hour, to get the strongest coffee that you ever tasted, it seems that it’s closed, and starting a week without your coffee, and more important than that, with an hangover, without your coffee, and once again latte for work it’s definitely not your idea of a good Monday.
With your humor starting to decline even more, you enter your office building, without even looking to the security guard, the only nice person that works in this building. When you enter your office there’s no one there.

DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE – MONDAY MORNING
“She may be young but she only likes old things
And modern music it ain’t to her taste
She loves the natural light
Captured in black and white
And modern music it ain’t to her taste
She loves the natural light
Captured in black and white
She sees mirages of mountain ranges
Within a blink of her eyes it changes
Back to the open plain
Oh no she can’t explain
Within a blink of her eyes it changes
Back to the open plain
Oh no she can’t explain
I cry out love, keep your arms around me
I am a bird that’s in need of grounding
I’m built to fly away,
I never learned how to stay
I am a bird that’s in need of grounding
I’m built to fly away,
I never learned how to stay
The night is gonna fall and the vultures will surround you
And when you’re looking in the mirror what you see is gonna astound you
But all these lines and greys refine, they are the maps of our design
Of what began on Monday morning
And when you’re looking in the mirror what you see is gonna astound you
But all these lines and greys refine, they are the maps of our design
Of what began on Monday morning
Monday morning
Monday morning
Monday morning
Monday morning
Monday morning
Monday morning
The night is gonna fall and the vultures will surround you
And when you’re looking in the mirror what you see is gonna astound you
But all these lines and greys refine, they are the maps of our design
Of what began on Monday morning
And when you’re looking in the mirror what you see is gonna astound you
But all these lines and greys refine, they are the maps of our design
Of what began on Monday morning
Oh yes the night is gonna fall and the vultures will surround you
And when you’re looking in the mirror what you see is gonna astound you
And while the glow of youth in time eludes, it’s burning on inside of you
It all began on Monday morning
And when you’re looking in the mirror what you see is gonna astound you
And while the glow of youth in time eludes, it’s burning on inside of you
It all began on Monday morning
Monday morning
Monday morning”
Monday morning”

IT’S EASY TO BE HAPPY
When you go to Amsterdam you’ll have the opportunity to spend your days on the red light district, going trough all the coffee shops, spend some time in all of the museums that exist in that city or simply loose yourself in a city that has an amazing soul, in my humble opinion you must use them all.
On the day that I took this picture I had decided that it would be a cultural day, bearing in mind that I’m a history graduate I had to spend some time studying the history of this city, but since I don’t consider myself as a “normal person” instead of going to the Anne Frank house I decided to send some time walking around on the Jewish quarter and going to the Portuguese sinagoge and the Jewish museum.
The hours that I spent immersed in history remind me of the evil that exist in mankind and left me with no hope.
After I left the museum I could only walk around while thinking about all that was shown to me, the bad and the worst, but after a couple of hours I found myself entering one of the mains squares in Amsterdam and I faced something that was able to change my mood.
A street artist, one of those that are only doing soap bubbles, with something so simple he was surrounded by kids that where trying to catch the bubbles and that where laughing as if they where doing the most amazing thing.
More than than all the surrounding adults where smiling and most probably dying to join them. I know that even today, two years after I still envy their ability of being happy with so little.

HOW TO START WRITING
I never knew how to write, despite having a background in humanities, I’m not good at it, but I have so many ideas, that some times I wish I would be able to put them all together wrapped in a little red bow, to show them to the world and find someone that can somehow understand the weird mind that I have.
I’m finally trying to put them on paper (or on the screen), with a special mention to an idea that has been in my mind for the last several years.
At the same time I’m just trying to change my life, from the boring moment that I’m living.

ISRAEL 1
I recently been in Israel, just like I do everywhere I go, I spent a couple of hours wandering trough the streets of Tele Aviv, that wandering around showed me some really cool street art, and just some cool Wall writing (I’m sure this have a proper name) that inspired me.
On the next couple of days I’ll share them and some stories that I lived there.
